Hoang Quoc Truong Fund

The Fund is set up to honor the late Rev. Hoàng Quốc Trương, the former Dean of Faculty of Sciences / Dalat University. 

On May 18, 2007, DUACT nominated  Leman Le to be in charge of this fund out of our respect and our profound gratitude to the late beloved professor. Leman Le is proud and dedicated to take the assignment with outstanding successes after successes continuously. The Garage Sale events in Los Gatos, California have harvested from $10,000 to $24,000 each time running from 2005 to 2014.

Among the supporters of the events are the Hội Không Quân Bắc California, Mr. Simon Le and family members and friends who have given so much time and effort to assure success every time.

All the proceeds are deposited to DUACT General Fund to support any educational assistance programs in Vietnam to benefit the poor, the less fortunate, the handicapped who possess strong desire to reach their full potential to improve themselves, to move ahead, to transform their lives and to become  good citizens.

The proceeds of all Garage Sale events come from benefactors' cash donations, the net profit from the events of Garage Sale and the matching from WFG Foundation.

Some of the assistance programs derived from this Fund go to support Katrina Disaster, Storm victims in Vietnam, scholarships to the blinds in Dalat,...
