DUACT Mutual Assistance Fund - MAF
The Duact MAF is established to provide urgent assistance to the former Dalat University members, faculty, staff, alumni and their family members who unfortunately succumb to certain unpredictable conditions of health.
The assistance comes to help alleviate immediate burden of the target recipients.
The Fund reflects the love and compassion linking us together as members of the same family, Dalat University.
MAF relies heavily on the network of representatives of each class promotion. Their role is to identify friends in distress for assistance, to assess the actual condition and to deliver timely and direct Duact assistance to them including consolation, gifts of incense-candle-flower.
From 2003 to 2015 the MAF has provided needed support for 120 cases, including, 3 cases for former faculty members with a total of 71,693.99 USD

In 2006 with $4,236.66USD to help 16 cases ( 7 victims of Xangxang typhoons and 9 alumni in Hội An, Danang province,
In 2007 with $7,000.00 USD to help 9 alumni and 50 gift packages for Tết.
In 2008 with $4,766.33 USD to help 7 alumni and 33 gift packages for Tết.
In 2009 with $3,430.00 USD to help 8 alumni..
In 2010 with $6,790,00 USD to help 10 alumni and 23 gift packages for Tết.
In 2011 with $1,500.00 USD to help 3 alumni and 22 gift packages for Tết.
In 2012 with $2,500.00 USD to help 6 alumni .
In 2013 with $7,300.00 USD to help 8 alumni and 3 gift packages for Tết.
In 2014 with $10,720.00 USD to help 17 alumni and 17 gift packages for Tết
In 2015 with $ 9,451.00 USD to help 9 alumni and 20 gift packages for Tết
In the future DUACT wishes to provide more, wider and deeper assistance to the cases that need the most of help from MAF.
