Mission Statement

Dalat University Alumni Charitable Trust is a non profit, tax–exempt, charitable organization dedicated to assisting low income students, families and schools in Vietnam in the areas of Education, Health and Economics.

Short term goals:

• Emergency relief for Natural Disaster victims
• Medical subsidies for low income and minority especially the disabled (deaf, dump, blind, leprosy) children in Vienam remote areas.
• Financial assistance to victims of tragedies

Long term goals:

• Education: provide scholarships for disadvantage youths in all level from elementary to college
• Reduction of poverty: provide micro loans to small businesses to start up or expanding their business in order to increase earning and to become self sufficient

Duact organization is governed by an all-volunteer board of directors and core team who receives no compensation for their services.
